Why do we insist that NX has to be another PS or XB, or else it'll fail?

Yeah, I wonder how that'll play out, if true. Though, I feel that while using it as a home console it really should be just as powerful as the PS/One, prefertably as strong as Pro/Scorpio - but I think that's wishful thinking
