Why do we insist that NX has to be another PS or XB, or else it'll fail?

if you're gaming on Nintendo you buy Nintendo games. 3rd party games don't sell well on Nintendo consoles period.

You have to give a fairly big list of games. That are: 3rd party, haven't been gimped, in some way. IE: Missing DLC, patches, launched at the same time, complete compared to another consoles version. Can use normal controls. And not forced to use the gamepad. To really say this. Because for me. I'd damn well would buy 3rd party games on my Wii U. But I can't. Because of the reasons above.
