I've encountered what I perceive to be racism many times in my life. I've looked down the barrel of 3 different guns in my lifetime. All 3 times it was a white man holding the gun. The first time I was maybe 6 years old.
I've been called racial slurs by white children. Old white ladies asked other white folks if it was legal for me to be there. I've been asked about racial stereotypes constantly and almost always by white people.
Almost every one will say they're not racist, but racism is there.
