Yeah, I don't see any of those going away ever for a long time either, maybe even never unless something drastic were to happen that somehow made Google unable to run those sites, but even then fi that were to happen someone would most likely just buy the sites and run it themselves. I personally don't have a problem with any of those sites, except with what Youtube has been doing lately, but it does show the problem of what can happen when a company has such a monopoly in any sort of thing. They start doing shitty things just because they can get away with it and because they know there isn't really a competitive enough alternative currently out there, so people don't have much option of where else to go and they have nothing to worry about. 

I dont mind them either. But I dont think a monopoly on certain site types is healthy at all. Like you were saying
