The reason it's pushing voter registration is generally the Democrats win when voter turn out is high. Republicans benefit when voter turn out is low, that's why they usually try to supress voter registration. 

I believe Robert Downey Jr. is/was a Republican by the way, so the fact that he's in an anti-Trump ad is pretty damning.

I'm probably voting for Hillary if anyone but that doesn't excuse throwing in a political endorsement in the middle of a "just go vote" ad
