Agreed with the OP. Apple takes way too much hate.

iPhone 7 is the fastest smartphone in the world. It destroys the Samsung Note 7/Galaxy S7 chip:

People just never want to give Apple credit for anything. An iPhone 7 also costs about the same as other comparable phones, yes there is a premium but it's not that huge either.

A lot of this stuff is overblown. Yes, you can't charge and listen to music at the same time ... but who the hell even does that? How often are you listening to music while tethered to a wall outlet.

The battery life is also very good, my fiance has the iPhone 6S and I have the Galaxy S7 Edge (pretty much the best non-Apple phone on the market) ... when we were on vacation we had to use one as a GPS for the rental car, and we ended up using her iPhone because in actual usage the battery life was far better.

Again Apple takes way too much hate for making quite frankly phones that are better than 98-100% of what's on the market.

In terms of a phone that has great performance, very good battery life, best in class camera, and a no-nonsense superfast OS with no bloat, iPhone is a great choice. Even the display while not matching in pixels, still looks fantastic with the wider color gamut and increased brightness. IMO lower resolution but better battery life is a better trade off, phones above 1080p on a little screen is just overkill.
