People tend to misunderstan the scenario for consoles in China before the ban was lifted. Consoles ALWAYS were sold in mainland China, and China is pretty much a PS territory (for consoles anyway), and PS brand was already pretty strong there. I'm not talking about that. In China it always was very easy to find consoles that came from other Asia countries, like Hong Kong, Macau and Japan, via the gray market. It always was pretty easy to buy consoles, accessories and games through the gray market. Officially released consoles started again last year, but it doesn't mean console gaming in China started there.
