| Intrinsic said: Maybe I'm just missing some sort of point, but why is this a bad thing? There is a lot of shit on YouTube. Has anyone seen the comments on most vids? Or even how some sick ppl mislabel kid related content and then the poor hapless kids end up watching adult material. If there is one thing I think YouTube needs is some moderation. |
You should know this is just a few weeks after Youtube decided to unmonetize (as in, creator makes no revenue) on "sensitive" content. This "sensitive " content ranges from nobody knows to who the fuck knows. Videos discussing abortion, atheism, the 2016 elections in USA, gaming, or anything that is "controversial", or heck any video that says "fuck" or "shit" at any point.
And that comes from years upon years of Youtube's Content ID shit problem.
The point is, it's very damaging to content creators, specially because Youtube doesn't give freaking samples on what is considered as "sensitive" content. It's a slow way of incorporating censorship, and Youtube seems to not listen to the content creators.
As for Youtube Heroes, it's giving power to monkeys. Like, imagine if LeafyIsHere is level 4 and decides to mass flag all Keemstar videos because he doesnt want him to have any videos? It's dumb, diva drama, but he could do it. He is a "hero", after all...
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
