The importance of voting was not their message.  The importance of voting against Drumpf was their message.  They called him a racist that threatens the fabric of the country, referred to a potential Drumpf presidency as a nightmare, mentioned specific Drumpf stances they disagreed with (immigration/gun laws), an so on.  There wasn't much subtlety, hiding, or trickery involved here.  Just because they didn't yell "fuck Drumpf" at the very begining of the video doesn't mean it was "supposed" to be about anything else.

Well I'm glad you see it that way.  Just goes to show you know what you're talking about.  The thing is, not everyone is going to see that.  And honestly, I disagree with you about there not being trickery or subtlety in this video.  Because there is subtlety in what it's saying.  It's just that their subtlety is poorly disguised and sinking like a lead pipe.  If they were to put out a companion site that wasn't "http://www.savetheday.vote" or the sub header being "Save the day.  Vote.", then I would agree with you in that it was a simple anti trump message.  But as it is, there is an underlying sense that they want to use the topic of vote to push their anti-trump message and that alone is what makes the video disingenous.

"A racist, abusive, coward, who can permanently damage the fabric of our society."

It would be hard to be any less subtle if they tried.  There is nothing disingenous about it. The format was made as a satire against the PSA format it's based off of.   If anyone watches this video and does not get that it's an anti-trump video, there is something wrong with them.  As for arguing about the URL, that's like arguing that amazon is trying to deceive people because their website isn't actually about the Amazon.
