Furthermore, a console and a smartphone don't even cover the same functions unless you primarily bought a high end model to play games on it, which would show pretty misplaced priorities given that the phone is generally used a communication and productivity device and a console is almost exclusively designed for entertainment. Lastly, sales reflect the market for each respective device. Apple sold over 231 million iPhones in 2015 alone. Let that sink in. The wildly successful PS4 sold 43.4 million units since 2013 by comparison. |
Or maybe it's like a CTS-V vs an A8. Better in everything, costs less, easier to maintain. Badge isn't as snobby, that's important to some people. Paying more for less like it's something to brag about.
