I'd rather have an iPhone 7 than 2 PS4 Pros. PS4 Pros don't even have a cartridge slot, what kind of bullshit is that?
In all seriousness though, this sort of complaint is silly. iPhone is a mobile phone, not a gaming console, it's applications and capabilities are well beyond the scope of the PS4. 800$ USD is a standard price for a high end phone, it's actually on the lower end of the high end price spectrum. When it comes to mobile phones, carriers generally subsidize the price of the phone, so he customer does not pay the full price. It is like the Samsung Galaxy S7: even though the price is small when you buy it at the store, if you bought it without a contract on EBay, it would cost you between EUR 599 and 769, which is about 800 to 1000 USD.
It also DOES does have a headphone jack, it uses a newer technology, and is backwards compatible through the adapter it comes with. It's similar to how some computers don't use the old monitor pin connected anymore, you can still use hose old monitors, you just use an adapter instead. Headphones have been moving away from that kind of technology for a while as well, all of mine have USB connectors.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
