Even as a PS fan, the recent Forza games have been better than Gran Turismo games. I just hope the next Gran Turismo is a good polished game.

Yeah, good luck with that. GT used to be my favorite gaming franchise, period. I think GT2 might be the only game I have ever called in sick to work just so I could play more. But I don't think the series will ever be great again until some major restructure and philosphy shifts happen at PD, or maybe even removing them from GT altogether. Now it takes them ages to release a GT title and there are almost zero gameplay refinements that make the waits seem worth it. I think a mainline Forza every other year is probably too much, but it's telling that they can churn out a game every two years that are still superior to what it takes PD basically an entire gen to make. Sadly because of the name and lack of quality alternatives it's going to continue to sell truckloads with each release, which is probably why Sony allows PD to continue dragging their feet.

As for Horizon, I predicted an 85 or 86 IIRC in the metascore league, so I am surprised it's over a 90. That IBT review was like.. almost depressing to read. Honestly seems like it could be a cry for help. Someone get that man into another department, stat.

GT6 improved a lot over GT5 and had better physics. What zero refinement are you talking about? The only problem in GT now is the engine sounds and not all cars are premium which they will be in GT Sport.

Also GT6 has some amazing Vision GT cars and many prototype cars that are exclusive to GT like Red Bull X2010 and Citroen GT that you can't play on Forza Motorsport games. They are also amazing to drive. GT also has better original tracks than Forza.
