Actually the worst gatherings in German history were pretty open and disclosed. In fact the gatherings with the best intentions were secret.

There must have been some pretty private gatherings at the Wolf's Lair. Cough. And there were other, small gatherings, documented, although like much of history, perhaps embelished to some degree, that took place in Germany before, and during WW2. I don't know much about WW1 in this regard. My books are all packed away. Can't remember the places/dates and such. But if you're talking about the something like, say, I don't know.......The Nuremberg Rally, then yeah, that was pretty open. Thanks for sucking the fun out of my joke though. Took mere minutes! ;)

I live to please.
