As the title says. The PS3 has been doing pretty bad as of late. But of course, the 360 is doing even worse.
Last year, we were in a very similar situation: Ninja Gaiden Sigma just launched on the PS3 against Eternal Sonata on the 360. ES won the first week battle, moved more HW (in %), but the PS3 still beat it in terms of overall hardware sales, and NGS outsold ES, eventually.
This year, the PS3 is doing even worse, as is the 360. In 2 weeks, DBZ: Burst Limit will launch for both the 360 and PS3. However, NG2 is launching on the 360 as well.
NG1 had a good run on the orig. Xbox in Japan. It was 2004's top-selling Xbox game (at a paltry 60k units)...Could NG2 be a catalyst for the 360 making one last-ditch run at topping the PS3s hardware sales for just 1 week before MGS4 kills 360 sales?
