It'll appeal to a crowd of people, the same way it did for those that hold 4 on the pedestal of "best Resi game ever" despite fans like myself still preferring the original series and spinoffs compared to the ones of today.
I'd rather have a remake of Resi Outbreak file 1-2 than another shot at trying to be like Outlast.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
