Boy, I really doubt these polls are valid. But hey, believe what you want. I don't support punching old ladies in the face. But dems have had their fair share of violence with riots the media ignores. |
You only doubt the polls are "valid" because it paints a grim picture for a lot of Trump supporters. Funnily enough, those same polls have things like: "% of registered voters who say free trade agreements have been _____ for the U.S." with 58% of Clinton supporters saying it's been good, while 68% of Trump supporters say it's been bad. That seems valid, right? You could say that that's generally accurate, in describing each candidates supporters.
But when they turn around and ask those same participants about Muslims and black people, and Trump supporters start looking bad.....all of a sudden, the same poll, with the same methodology, asking the same participants is conveniently "not valid".
These are Pew and Ipsos polls, surveying anywhere from 2,000 to 16,000 people, btw (i.e. more than ample sample size). If we're just tossing surveys from credible sources because the results aren't favorable, then we can just toss out any poll, and there's no point in ever backing up anything with stats.
