4K gaming really is premature yes, when the hardware performance just isn't there yet, framerate isn't there and most gamers don't even own 4K screens.
Nobody asked for this, everyone wanted better performance in 1080p. But this is what we got. If I already owned a PS4 I wouldn't upgrade to a Pro, but since I don't have one and the exclusive library of games I would like to play is getting big enuff I will buy a Pro now.
