I don't know man.I find it hard to believe that only one of my 980ti(granted OCed like hell)is able to play The Witcher freaking 3 at 4K medium-high settings with an average of 40fps, but a 970 OCed to 980 levels of performance can't play RoTR at 1600p medium-high settings with at least 30fps.

Your GPU is roughly 50% more powerful. Of course I can get it on 1600p, but 4K checkerboard rendering isn't 1600p, it is more demading than that and gives way better results, so I do'nt really see what's the point on comparing it running in 1600p.

Uh.
The point of 4k Checkerboard rendering was to save on processing time.
It's going to be roughly equivalent to 1600P in terms of how demanding it is and that is roughly inline with how capable (Or not capable depending on your perspective) the PS4 Pro's GPU is.
But it will also give you better results on a 4k screen than what 1600P will offer due to less funky-dory scaling.

This is interesting. They have scaled back some effects on PS4 Pro, but ROTTR is one of the PC games to take advantage of powerful rigs. There wouldn't be so much difference in most games.

I've played the PC version already but damn this looks amazing, I'll play it again when I upgrade my PC xD

Something to keep in mind is that resolution doesn't end at 4k on the PC either, you can go higher than that. ;)

Your graph doesn't tell the whole story.

What CPU is paired with those GPU?

The argument isnt the cost of the PC though... The Argument is that a top of the line PC isn't required to run at max settings. Tomb Raider isn't exactly a CPU bound game either. You can pair up an i3 and bam.

A GPU would bottleneck way before a CPU ever will for this game. (At least for high resolutions anyway)

Again, Ps4Pro > PC as far as bang for buck goes.

When you start talking 4k and higher resolutions with all the graphical bells and whistles, the CPU does tend to become irrellevent, you are always GPU bound.
