The cube´s greatest gems, imo, were Metroid Prime, Smash Bros Melee and the original releases of REmake and RE4, the latter was a revolution in game design at the time.
I was also surprised at how much I enjoyed Eternal Darkness, pretty good horror title with Lovecraft influences.
On the other hand, it was also home to the (imo) most disappointing 3D Mario, a controversial (but good) Zelda and a very controversial (but not very good) StarFox game...which was really StarFox in name only.
Also, it had the last Paper Mario I enjoyed, all the ones that came after are lacking in comparison.
