its not that simple dude.

I have an RX 480 8GB in my PC, it was 300 bucks. PS4 Pro has similiar power to my PC, but includes every other component needed to run, where as even if I went cheap ass it would take another 300 to get it up and running.

Then you add better optimimization  and you get performance on Par with say a 800-900 dollar rig.

Yes they are not going to compete with people doing an RX480 in CFX or running a GTX 1080, but those cards or combos of cards are 600-800 dollars alone.

They are not completing against the PC enthusiast market. He did not say that. They are targeting the mass market PC audience. PS4 Pro should remain relevent against PCs (while losing ground each year) until PS5 comes up and catches it back up again.

He says they are competing against people that are looking to PC for the best visuals and best performance... Pretty sure those who are looking to PC for those knows the cost of those parts...

If he meant only those who are looking for the best bang for the buck, he should have said so without having people interpreting in many different ways.

Anyway, I have argued with this and etc a lot in previous pages and covered pretty much all arguments. So I will just go with agree to disagree and not reply

yes, that would be a better way for him to say it. PS4 Pro give more bang for the buck than you can get with any PC build in 2016 (and probably into 17). It will be able to create images comparible with a current performance gaming PC (but not enthusisiast)  for far less cost. PC is the place to go if you want the best performance and are willing to pay for it.

2016 the PS4 was quickly getting outdated it is to the point the a budget PC compares with a PS4. PS4 Pro resets that and offers graphics better than what a typical consumer will ever see on their PC.
