A couple of reasons why I feel the gamecube is not a bad console, but still the worst console THAT MATTERS.
Twin Snakes
Resident Evil 4(it was exclusive for quite a while)
Resident Evil Remake
Wind Waker
Eternal Darkness
Tales of Symphonia
Killer 7(again, timed exclusive, but worth it at the time)
Pikmin 2
Now the gamecube definately has some amazing exclusives, and there is no doubt anyone who never owned one should go back and pay the 99 bucks or whatever, or just buy a Wii and go through that library of games I've mentioned, plus several great multiplats like Beyond Good and Evil.
However, the gamecube is already beaten by the Wii in terms of game quality and quantity, imo, and it stands as one of the most lackluster consoles that matter, due to several medicore fluke bad Nintendo games, and near complete abandonment by 3rd party developers. The Xbox comes a close second, as it really didn't have many more great exclusives than the Gamecube, but it had a lot of PS2 port multiplats to lift it up above the Gamecube.

Wii

PS3
N64
Xbox
Gamecube
360
The Gamecube must definately go at the bottom of that short list, but that's not to say that the cube is a bad system by any means. It's just worse than most other systems which are amazing by any standards. The PS3 and Dreamcast are also close to the bottom of that list, so it's nothing to be ashamed of.
