Well we also don't know for sure that it will even launch within 6 months. My guess is they haven't announced it because they're not ready to make it yet which means it won't be releasing in March...

And where does info about the strength (or lack thereof) of any NDAs come from?

Nintendo several times confirmed March like release date, if they are not ready or there is possibility for delay they would never confirmed every time March like release date. And they basicly said last year we dont want to revile to soson.

That actualy very small leak for console that will be launched in 6 monts, compare that with leaks with WiiU/PS4/XB1/PS4Pro and you will see that NX NDA is very tight.

 And they basicly said last year "we dont want to revile to soon beacuse of competion".
