In 2016/2017 you really don't need more than around 4-6 months to reveal product before launch.

 

They may have said that, but it's a load of crap really.

Even if they did have an amazing idea that others wanted to steal then they wouldn't have time to actually steal it before the NX released. And if they did... then how come Nintendo aren't able to make it and release it anywhere near that fast?

So why do you think we still dont know anything for sure about NX even it will be launch in 6 months, when almost every other Nintendo console was revile around year and half before launch!?

ITs very obvius that Nintendo with NX is holding cards very close to chest, also we have infos that this NX NDA is far more stronger than anything before.
