It seems like the biggest issue here is storage space, not the actual service itself. That's certainly the thing he harps on the most. In fact, he points out rather emphatically that there are already several good games on the service.

I think the storage space issue has been apparent to the enthusiast crowd for some time. I agree, it's annoying.
