I actually think MS could win Sept and October, because I think people and new buyers are going to be drawn towards the pro and not the slim, in fact it wouldnt surprise me if Sony want the Pro to be the core device. Unfortunately that means slim sales (because of its close price) will not get much of a boost because people will wait for the pro.

Look at it this way, they've released it at the same price as the original PS4, thats probably why they didnt want to increase the price any more, because they want the same launch price which everyone was happy with. I can see the pro device selling more than the slim unless they drop the slim over xmas by another $50...
