Everyone keeps saying its performance that matters.
Its not, its "perceived value".

Wii u = 176 gflops , PS4 = 1,84 teraflops. (1840 gflops) (10 times the power of the Wii u)

Price? both are 299$.

Scorpio needs to be competitive in price too.
If its 40% stronger than the PS4 Pro, it needs to aim for max 40% higher price.
By the time the Scorpio is out, PS4 Pro will have gotten a 50$ price cut.

Scorpio will live or die by the price its released at imo.
It cant launch at more than 499$ and do well vs the PS4 Pro.

It'll be $399.99. Remove that stupid Kinect and that's like $100 off their budget right there for starters.

4 years in tech cycles is a huge amount of time, that's the difference between an N64 (1996) and Playstation 2 (2000) or XBox (2001) and XBox 360 (2005).

For $399.99, 6+ TFLOP GPU (Polaris 11 custom), a way better CPU than Jaguar, and 12-16GB of RAM should be doable. To be honest I think they could push that GPU performance a bit.

A 2017 phone has like 20x the performance of a 2013 phone, expecting CPU/GPU tech to remain that stagnant is silly, there are phones/tablets today with a better CPU than the XBox One/PS4.
