There isn't actually a store in my town here which sells them, I'm sure I'd be massively upset if a single place sold the media and the system couldn't play it, but indeed if I'm getting video content its streamed on my BB line direct to the PS4, could throw the drive away and wouldn't impact the system much for me (other than make the price more appealing)
Also what battle is the title talking about, one is a system which launches in 2 months the other is a concept cgi footage being talked about for over a year away, there is no battle between these systems.
