LOL at anyone who actually thinks more than like 5% of the overall gaming market watches events like these or E3.

" Regular" people don't. I like Air Jordans, but I'm not going to watch a press event for an Air Jordan sneaker, most people feel the same way about game consoles but I'm sure there's a group of sneaker enthusiasts who wet their pants at such events.

Nintendo has a certain charm because they have personality and a refreshingly different approach that is more "innocent" (I guess I don't really know what the word for it is). They're just more charming. That's probably the main difference. 

You could see it even at the Apple event yesterday ... Miyamoto totally killed it there, had the audience laughing with giant smiles on their faces like school kids and probably a good chunk of that audience didn't know who Miyamoto was before seeing him on stage there.
