Idk if it really suffers from the over-hype thing... What most people have an issue with is the lack of a 4k Bluray functionality, not really anything else imo. And that part is justified at least for me.

I mean I totally could care less about the lack of 4k blu ray, however, considering there are obviously many, many people who still enjoy buying blu rays, and considering the marketing of the pro to be a 4k machine, the lack of a 4k blu ray player is an asinine decision especially considering the xbox one slim for $299 has a 4k blu ray

There are a lot of people who also rent blu rays like myself.  Streaming is hit or miss sometimes within my household even though I have enough bandwidth.  When you are watching a movie and you get artifacts, stoppage and other gunk from streaming, you just want a smooth experience.  Also the picture quality is crisp and prestine when you play from disk.

Saying that your product is a 4K device without the actual drive no matter how you spin it makes the product look weak to the competition that does have it.  I am sure the Pro will still sell buck loads but it gives a very distintive advantage outside of just raw power to the MS big dog system once it comes out.
