No... it is wireless as in bluetooth OR use the free adapter that comes with the phone.

But, yes some will find this inconvienant enough to stick with current version or consider moving to Android. Likely very few as I think at this time in the industry people are pretty set on their OS.

It's clear he was referring to the use of standard headphones.
