I'm well aware of the fact, and would expect anybody else paricipating in such a topic to also be,
and I do find your presentation here MORE confusing, in fact moving the goalposts to make it seem as if others' claims were not true.
Your entire poll is premised on obscuring people's original claims that p4pro/neo would need to upscale to reach 4k, which is born out by reality.
As I said, "near 4k" is a meaningless metric, 720p could be considered "near 4k". So your entire poll is meaningless.
@Kowan: I did not watch the presentation video itself, because, well, onstage PR hype is not exactly a high information:time usage format.
I was referring to the pre-release hype of gaming media fed by Sony controlled-leaks, i.e. the basis of people's expectation before release.
You only need to read past threads on the subject to see countless posts of people expecting PS4pro/neo to be a 4k gaming experience.
The gaming media controlled-leak hype machine was full of stuff like "according to Sony's own documents, there is a focus on delivering 4k gaming content".(Eurogamer, calling it "PS4K" at the time)
