It was really the biggest suprise of the day, without a doubt! This is something that i just didn't see coming.
Can't say i wouldn't prefer a normal Mario game, but knowing that it would probably suck, i'm ok with this. Also, you can see that this, despite not being able to control the pace, will still have some moments of pause - to emulate the normal Mario game - which is great!
After seeing this, Captain Toad could actually be a great game to play on mobile devices: control with your finger the direction. Seems like a good match. Maybe one day, who knows? :)
