Well, $299 is the official price. In November, the PS4 Slim will be already 2 months old. Inventory clearance of the old PS4-bundles will also push the street prices a bit down. I'm sure there will be the first Black Friday offers for $250.
The PS4 Pro is brand new in November, so I doubt there will be any price cuts this year. The gap will probably widen from official $100 to a strett price gap of $130 - $150.
