Type: Null is also said to be artificial, what I get from this is that whoever made UC 01 first had Type: Null as their first creature, but they probably failed, ending up with "just" a Pokémon. I think Ultracreatures are far more powerfull than Pokémon (or at least so people think in the Alola region) and probably they don't have a type, but they simply have some random weaknesess/resistances, UC 01 is said to be made of a substance similar to glass, since Glass is made with high temperatures maybe UC 01 is weak to Fire, without retaining the same weaknesess of a Grass, Bug, Ice or Steel type...
