Seeing how Sony will support more smartphones with their own software rather than their own handheld due to it beeing a miserable flop, betting on their systems longterm is really bad move. Even in the worst case scenario, NX will be supported for at least 1 generation and who knows what the market will look like. Console sales have been quite stagnant this year and who knows how many times they can pull of a mid-generation update until consumers get fed up.
