IF Nintendo goes PC, which they should if they become a third party, they'll probably launch their own eShop store to get all the profits possible, which in turn will also piss off PC gamers that will complain because they don't launch their games on Steam. That way, Nintendo will still be able to piss off everybody, both on consoles and on PC.
OT: Something similar said the Sega die hard fans when they left the hardware market: "just until they get in the green again and can come back with a new and great machine". But things don't work that way and once their games appeared on other platforms, their consumers moved on accordingly and never looked back. And the same would happen with Nintendo. |
Yeah sega was in a really bad position financially before that happened. The dreamcast is still my favorite console.
The better option would be to release demos on the PC to advertise their games.
