I really doubt it will work like that, as given the descriptions of the changes being gentic rather than superficial an imported Pikachu wouldnt have the genes to eveolve into an Alolan Raichu. Plus it makes little sense for them to have a brand new design not in the game.

My bet is Pichu and Pikachu both have Alolan forms that have yet to be revealed. The same goes for Cubone and Execuggute.

Yeah, it probably won't be like that. But considering I want an Alolan Raichu it may happen just to spite me

Didn't they say that the only way to get non-Alolan forms of these Pokemon would be to trade them in once though? If that's what they said then it would mean a traded Pikachu could still be Alolanised. Not sure there would be Alolan forms for some of the non-evolved Pokemon though. I don't think it's necessary to do all of them since they'd still end up different anyway.

I think it would make more sense if the Alolan and non- Alolan lines were kept separate. Of the pre-evos I think Execuggute is the most likely to not have an Alolan form but Alolan Marowak is so different to its Non-Alolan form that it makes no sense for Cubine to not get an Alolan form itself.
