But if WiiU games get ported to the NX like some think will happen it makes the WiiU's legacy less and less impactful. A Sunshine/Galaxy esque Mario adventure, a Mario Party, Mario Strikers, F-Zero, Animal Crossing... these were my favorite gamecube games and they're no where to be seen on WiiU. I've played all those games above several times over the past decade, when it comes to the WiiU I don't think there's any game I'll come back to years after it has finished... Like really... there's games and GB,GBC,GBA,DS,3DS Nes,Snes,N64,GC,Wii that I will still be playing and going back to for years... when it comes to the WiiU I just don't see anything I will want to go back to. |
To each their own! I've already replayed Pikmin 3 twice, have already 1000+ hours in Splatoon, and Woolly World n Mario Kart 8 are definitely games I'm going to get nostalgic over in the future. Besides who cares about legacy, as long as you enjoyed it for it's time is what really matters.
