I agree. I really only care about Zelda on Nintendo platforms, but that already puts me in a position to play their other titles as I will always have their hardware for Legend of Zelda. So why not give people like me more options? Plus I want Nintendo to be successful because I want more Zelda games, so I want them to have a bigger library that appeals to more people as well.

I would like to see moving forward...

More Zelda games in the direction of BotW

A new Mario Adventure game (could be Galaxy 3 or like Mario 64)

I proper Metroid game

A GOOD Star Fox game, not a poor remake

A Donkey Kong game like Donkey Kong 64

New Xenoblade

Bayo 3

A Proper Mario RPG game

Earthbound return

And also some new IPs to expand upon.

Out of the big 3, Nintendo had the most IPs to work with. Even if it meant outsourcing to 3rd parties, if they took advantage of everything they had they could knock it out of the park (even without multiplats).

We don't need another console for PS4/X1 games, we need a console for Nintendo games. But we need one that takes full advantage of what Nintendo has to offer. They need to use their IPs to give themselves a library that can compete with the other two, but will only be available on Nintendo consoles.  And of course, they can even use third party devs to form New IPs exclusively for Nintendo.  We have seen Sony do it with Bloodborne, Nintendo can do it too.  This will make it more about what the NX can do and less about what the X1 and PS4 can do.  Nintendo just had to be willing to invest in it.

I have said it before, they don't need 3rd party support for ALL multiplats (more is always better though), they need 3rd party support to help them keep a solid flow of games though. That means carefully selecting what to outsource and what to do in house. We have good canon Zelda games made by Capcom, so we know it is possible.

This is what I feel they need to do with the NX.
