It seems like we can cut Pikmin 4 off the list. I wonder what launch titles will NX have, besides Zelda. LM3 maybe?

Actually It's not hard to imagine they worked on 2D Pikmin for 3DS and full 3D for NX.

I have no idea, I honestly can't find any sort of logic to explain their actions this time. This goes against the unified library concept which I thought was the point of the NX.

but the unified library concept is based on rumors, we don't know anything concrete... now I don't know if I believe the rumors.

Not just on rumours, but more based on Nintendo statements also, and their actions.

3DS sales already showed the system is far from dead.

I don't think the continuing 3DS support should shock anyone. It's pretty normal for any one of the big 3 to continue support for a successful legacy platform 1-2 years after a new system. (PS2, and 360 come to mind). It's important to keep the laggards engaged in some way until they're really ready for a new platform.

Actually Nintendo usually abandoning their platforms one year before new arrives, especially home consoles. 3DS having very strong support in 2017 is pretty unexpected.

Black2/White2 came out a year after the 3DS launched. But GameFreak sometimes do their thing without Nintendo.

It's strange to me because the NX might be competing with the 3DS in its first year... unless the NX is a normal home console. I'm confused.

Well so did GBA and DS too, the only problem is that DS and 3DS had pretty weak launch years partially because of that. Where as Nintendo has stated they wanted a strong launch for the NX...

To be fair all this 3DS titles are not big projevts (expect Pokemon), there is quite good numbers of ports and spin offs, and that points that all big teams are working on NX games, not to mention that last bigger Wii U game that isnt small project, port or spinoff is announced at E3 2014.
