Eh, nothing really changed. It's easy and cheap support to keep customers happy while they move support over to the new platform. I'm not saying it isn't welcome but it's not a sign that a new hybrid or handheld isn't far off.
Also if NX isn't a hybrid and is simply there home console then I'm afraid it will bomb. Like it's going to sell worse than WiiU. Most people see WiiU's library as weak and with 3DS getting even more WiiU games why would you go out and buy the next home console when the next handheld will have most of the same games and more.
