Nintendo didn't even support the Wii after it's successor launched...... It is NOT normal for Nintendo. They do not support their systems after the release of a successor.

Even when that successor has B/C with the previous console and sells a horrifically low amout whilst the predecessor sold an insanely high amount. If Nintendo were ever going to support a System after the release of it's sucessor it would have been the Wii.

100 Million + Sold, Games would work on the new system, New system selling terribly. Still didn't support previous console.
