Meh, way better concept would just be slide out physical keyboard model,
developed for optimal physical feedback, i.e. what that potential market would love.
Within the over-all body structure suitable to slide-out keyboard, the keyboard unit
can be modular and hot-swappable for a physical controller interface,
including d-pad, buttons, and analog-stick replacement,
again focusing on optimum physical experience, to emphasize it's strengths vs. touchscreen.
There could be other concepts which could also be implemented as modular units,
let's say a braille/keyboard combo interface for the blind, or high(er) quality speaker for music/etc.
All those modules could be compatable within same body structure, while Sony could sell
various SKUs which just come with one or the other module type included...
(potentially the rarer modules would only be sold as add-on/upgrades to one of base SKUs)
