This 3DS was originally planned to be a Federation Force bundle, but FF got removed entirely when Nintendo finally grasped that FF wasn't something that anyone wanted. So they waited until everyone had forgotten about FF (it released one or two weeks ago, I know) before they announced this 3DS.

Now that actually makes sense, but I wonder if they are aware of how damn random it looks like. 

I have this gut feeling that this video is a huge hint relating to NX or something related to NX.  Just a thought.
