MAybe it wasn't...but i'm guessing after RE4..it's on another level..especialy since RE4 bought in newer gamers.
And this is just a early sales estimate. Everyone knows it's going to sell more than 2.3 million. It's on two platforms and there is more hype around it than all other resi's.
But i think they mean(someon else has pointed this out) during their fiscal year. Meaning RE5 to sell 2.3(both platforms combined) in the first month. Which i can see it being done pretty easily...providing it's a worldwide launch.
