I think GT7 proper will greatly outsell GT5.
GTS and GT7 are bringing VR to Gran Turismo for the first time, and that is going to make it put up massive numbers. Then I fully believe that GT7 will be available on PS4/PS4Neo/PSPTrinity making it available on home and mobile devices, allowing people to be connected to GT 24/7.
In fact when GT7 launches in 2018 on home and mobile PlayStation devices, I think it will sell 10M+ in the first 12 months, and continue to have rediculous legs going forward. As far as I see it, GT7 will turn virtual racing into a sport, and it will pay millions to the best drivers in the next decade as it continues to grow in popularity.
Basically, GT is WWE. People can say all they want about how great TNA or Ring of Honor are, but WWE is the big leagues. In the Virtual Racing world, GT is the big leagues, Forza, Project Cars, and Assetto Corsa will have people that claim they are the best, but at the end of the day, GT Virtual Racing.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter.
