Right on the money, give us the PlayStation phone we have been asking for since 2005. I understood why they couldn't do it during the Sony Ericsson days, but their is no reason not to do it now. If we had a high end PlayStation Phone with real games from Sony and third parties with full PSN support it would sell better than PS4 is right now.

They definitly need to have a dedicated handheld version if they want to go forward with this, and keep their core gamer maket happy. A 7" 1080p handheld with a full DS4 controll scheme on it would be absolutly king for this. Also it should have a massive 6000mAh battery so it could last for the long haul.

This is the single most important piece of the puzzle. If they plan to make another handheld it has to have a phone model. This is the only way to have high enough usage to get devs to prot their apps to the device. if they want things like banking apps, resturant apps, health apps, and the like, they have to have this in people hands 24/7.

- Is built on top of android and you use android for all your app and regular needs, including access to google play store

No, No, No, No. Sony can not have any ties to Android if they are looking to continue with PlayStation in the mobile field. They have to keep the PlayStation brand safe, and having Android tied up with PlayStation would be dangerous for the brand. Sony just needs to focus on getting their core gamers to switch to the new PlayStation OS, then they can slowly start to build up an app store, and focus on broadening past the first 50 Million people after that.

- The Vita OS or whatever custom OS is a dedicated app that you launch from android

Again, No, Absolutly Not. They can not have any ties to Android with a native gaming program. Things like PS Now, PS Vue, PS Video, and PS Music are fine. Anything cloud based that can not be pirated is perfect for Android, local gaming content on android will get hack in days, and Sony will be caught up in another battle with hackers.

Secondly, they absolutly can not use an ARM based system so that throws Andoid out the window. Any device going forward needs to be based on the same mobile based CPU in the PS4. Sony needs to have a single unified APU across all home and mobile devices, and one universal development language to make app development and scailing seamless.

- Has detachable controller set up and bluetooth option to play with your DS4

This will be great if one of the devices is a straight up slab smartphone design. However, I feel like the Tablet, and at least one version of the phone should fell very much like using a DS4 already.

- Has TV Out option

If Sony does another handheld it has to have a shared library with all other PlayStation products. So I don't see the handheld having TV out, but it will absolulty have cross buy, so every game you own will be playable on your PS4, you PS Tablet, and your PS Phone.

I don't know why they would bother.

If Sony comes out with a mobile line of products that plays every title in the PS4 libaray and shares apps with the PS4, then they are on their way to taking back a huge chunck of the mobile market. They have no chance to ever gain traction with Xperia, because it can never take advantage of all of Sony. A PlayStation Phone would have all of the resources it needs to be a success, and it would do it in a way that would see Sony make massive profit and revenue gains, and eat away at Apple and Googles mobile duoply. 

We need Sony, Micorosft, and Nintendo to make this happen. Hopefully NX and Trinity will get the ball rolling, and lead to a Microsoft phone with deep roots in gaming. There is no reason that all three companies couldn't have 100M plus users in their phone base, and take ~10% of the phone market each.
