Nintendo is the best drug. Nothing holds a candle to the Nintendo universe. 
I'd choose Angel Land from Kid Icarus. The whole game world totally hooked me when I was a kid. I still have very vivid memories of first playing it nearly 20 years ago. I replayed it a few years back, and though I was worried it wouldn't be as intense, I still found myself falling in love all over again.
But my second choice would be the Animal Forest from Animal Crossing. Very peaceful and humorous, with lots of neat things going on. Just gotta keep your eye on Tom Nook and everything should be fine.
