Is it considered embarrassing to live with your parents after a certain age in your culture?

I'm 24 and I've only recently landed a job that enables me to move out on my own. However, I won't for at least another year or two. Before this job, I had part-time work that would help with the bills. My mother still needs me and I can save a decent amount of money staying here.

I live in Florida. It's somewhat embarrassing here at my age but not a big deal in my experience. I never bring it up though, and most of my friends are college students with less than impressive jobs in the same position. So perhaps it's a bigger deal than I think if I were to discuss this with people outside of my circle.
