After watching this video it looks like they dumbed down the visuals and are just reusing old audio from Wind waker. Besides open world which is nothing that new for zelda, what else stands out to you? Skyward Sword may not have been open world, but most of the other games are more or less.

The last 3D Zelda that really felt Open World was Ocarina of Time. So it's quite new (and welcome) for modern Zelda indeed.
And the visuals never were wonderful LOL. Open world + promising gameplay were and still are.
